In the west we are guided by the energy of the sun, which is a yang approach, a masculine energy. We plan our days and routines by the rising and setting of the sun. Which, makes sense in many ways. It’s efficient. 

The moon shows up every night in the sky offering a different approach, a yin approach, a feminine energy. This way of existing, unfortunately, is often overlooked in the modern world. It invites us to experience our productivity in cycles, honoring times for slowing down, rather than the constant pushing.
