Breathing Exercise: Box Breathing
- Inhale for a count of 5.
- Hold the breath for a count of 5.
- Exhale all the breath from the lungs for a count of 5.
- Hold the breath for a count of 5.
- Repeat.
- Practice for 5-20 minutes.
That’s it! It’s quite simple, but can really make a difference in your performance levels. You may want to incorporate this practice once a day for 5-10 minutes and then for shorter lengths as situations arise throughout the day.
