Luteal phase is a time for simplifying - keeping the good and letting go of the negative or stagnant. Let’s do some breathwork to assist with this!

Breathing Exercise: Transformative Breath

  • Get in a comfortable seated or lying down position.
  • Release any tension in your body. 
  • Consciously inhale through your nose and observe the expansion of your belly. 
  • Then exhale slowly through your nose, releasing your belly. 
  • Repeat a mantra with each inhalation and exhalation. For example, “Inhale energy, exhale tension. Inhale strength, exhale doubt. Inhale love, exhale fear. Inhale joy, exhale sadness.”
  • Invite a purposeful, positive attribute into your being with each inhale. Let go of the attributes not serving you with each exhale. Feel yourself being strengthened.
  • Continue this practice for 5 minutes.
